Inspired by Heritage
Driven by the rich and distinct culture of the different regions of Egypt, Mahinaz Elmessiry developed her home accessories line ten years ago. She firmly believes that Egyptian heritage should be well documented in its authenticity yet respectfully modernized to fit today’s needs in an elegant and practical way. Her collections were displayed in many cities around the world, among which London and Paris.
Social Dimension
Towards fulfilling her cultural and social goals and to engage with a larger audience, Mahinaz Elmessiry offered several lectures about the History of Art and Egyptian cultural heritage at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina as well as in several venues abroad. In 2016 she gave lectures in Paris and London on different eras of Egyptian culture and their lasting impact modern designers. Additionally, she provided counseling sessions to women in NGOs to introduce sound principles of design, production, and marketing.
Exhibitions Abroad
Mahinaz Elmessiry’s collections were displayed in many cities around the world, among which are London, Paris and Rome. In her most recent international Exhibition, Mahinaz Elmessiry had the privilege to present her newest Ancient Egyptian “Nefertum” collection in Rome at the World Heritage Day.
